Fisherman Out of Ireland is based in Kilcar, Co. Donegal in the North West of Ireland. This extensive range of knitwear for gents and ladies is sold throughout Ireland, Europe, the United States and Asia. 

Donegal is steeped in a tradition of knitting and in the Fisherman range you will see evidence of these traditional techniques updated with hints of modern styling and clever use of colour and luxury yarns. 

The Fisherman Out of Ireland range of knitwear, launched in 1991, focused initially on gents knitwear in a range of traditional styles and yarns. Following the success of the gents range a ladies range was introduced in 1999 and this has also proven to be very popular both within Ireland and beyond. 

Each season since its launch the Fisherman range has grown and evolved and today the range features something for everyone; chunky wool/cashmere sweaters in ribs and stitches inspired by the traditional Aran patterns, merino wools, supersoft shetlands and felted wools. The range also includes accessories; hats, scarves gloves and socks. In all it’s the total modern Irish look.
